Next Rainbow Six Siege update brings Twitch and Thatcher nerfs
Ubisoft has recently been preparing "Operation Grim Sky," the next major expansion headed to Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. Two new Operators, a rework of Hereford base, and other changes are headed to the shooter, with a full reveal slated for August xix during the Six Major Paris. Taking to the Rainbow Six Siege web log, nosotros've now learned of 2 farther Operator changes arriving with the patch.
Firstly, Thatcher is seeing his gadget nerfed in an effort to limit his currently "binary playstyle." Following the arrival of Operation Grim Sky, the Operator'south EMP grenades will only temporarily disable cameras, instead of destroying them completely. Ubisoft hopes this move will force players to be more than artistic and work closer equally a team. This is reportedly a "small function of a larger project" in the works for Thatcher, prepare to make him stronger in the future.
Twitch is also seeing a minor nerf, increasing the sound created by her Daze Drone. Dissimilar traditional drones, the Shock Drone creates little noise in its current state, assuasive players to motion by unnoticed. This change will keep the drone "very unimposing," while making it more than noticeable in quiet environments.
